One of the strongest parameter used to rank the success of an institution is placements. At CPJIMT the percentage of placements has been a key factor for its success and popularity in short duration. The students are offered placements at their final year of study. CPJ Institute of Management & Technology which is only about 7 years of age has achieved a praise worthy placement record through its dynamic and efficient placement cell. The Placement Cell was established in 2004 and has been devoted to bridging the Industry-Academia gap thus giving a wider exposure to students thereby making them industry ready.
The CPJ-Corporate Exposure, Training and Placement (CETPAC) Cell
The Institute has developed a CPJ-CETPAC well in advance, which is being managed by students and assisted by the faculty members.
This Cell provides for an institute-industry interface through the following activities:
- Conducting Industrial visits.
- Conducting industry oriented training programmes.
- Conducting comprehensive personality development programmes.
- Inviting potential recruiters to visit the campus on the occasions of seminars and quizzes etc. to forge the necessary ties.
- Preparing the brochures of students data for the potential recruiters.
- Conducting mock technical / personal interviews and group discussions to make students aware of the selection procedures of various companies.
- Any other activity to increase employability of the members.
- Invite Professional Guest Instructors to impart necessary inputs for the above mentioned activities.
Placement Highlights:-
- It is interesting to note that being such a young campus, our alumini have been placed in IT & Management giants including HCL, IBM, Wipro, NIIT Technologies, HDFC Bank, Volkswagen,Maruti etc.
- Many of the students from the graduating batches have also taken up further studies at reputed Universities in the INDIA, US, Europe and Australia.
- Placements for the batch 2010 have been immensely successful as most of the students are placed.
- Placements for the batch 2011 will begin soon.
